Tuition Rate Code Needs to be Selected

All incoming resident Undergraduate students are required to select a Tuition Rate Code before being allowed to register for classes for the first time. To make this selection, log into Howdy and select the Registration Readiness card. Under the Action Items section click the Tuition Rate Code Selection drop down.

Proof of Bacterial Meningitis Needed

All incoming students are required to either receive a vaccination against Bacterial Meningitis or meet certain criteria for declining such a vaccination before the first day of the semester. Once students have been admitted, they must register with Med+Proctor in order to complete and submit a Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination record.

Online Orientation Required

All degree-seeking undergraduate students entering Texas A&M University - College Station must complete Online Orientation before attending a New Student Conference. Students will not be able to register for classes until the program is complete and the hold is released. An email will be sent when Online Orientation is available.

Students are required to take coursework within their designated major. A closet major is a student who is taking classes that are not on the degree plan of their major. Missing Graduate Degree Plan

A Graduate degree plan hold is removed once a degree plan is with the Graduate and Professional School in "OGS" status within the Document Processing Submission System (https://ogsdpss.tamu.edu/), meaning it has been approved by a student's committee and department.

Students can also ask their department to send a request through the Graduate Operations Committee (GOC) Dean of that college to have the hold lifted. The GOC Dean should email the request to dpblocks@tamu.edu.
