Prior to June 1969, grading was based on a 3-point system.Texas A&M Health Science Center
The Texas A&M University Health Science Center, created by a joint resolution of the 75th Texas Legislature and approved by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board in January 1998 was comprised of the following health-related entities throughout the Texas A&M System into one university and began operation on September 1, 1999. As of July 15, 2013, the Texas A&M Health Science Center was officially added as an academic unit under the administration of Texas A&M University. The Texas A&M Health Science Center is comprised of the following academic colleges:- College of Dentistry
- College of Medicine
- College of Nursing
- Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy
- School of Public Health
