Degree Requirement Verification
Submitting Degree Requirement Verification for Final Semester
If you are enrolled in courses required to complete your degree at an institution other than Texas A&M University, Texas A&M University at Galveston, or Texas A&M University at Qatar in the semester in which you apply for graduation, you must submit a record of all coursework to avoid removal from degree candidacy.
Submitting an official transcript to the Degree Audit Office is the preferred method. Providing an official transcript helps determine how transfer credits will be used to meet graduation requirements. Courses submitted via an official transcript will be viewable on your TAMU unofficial transcript in Howdy for your convenience.
The official transcript can be hand delivered to the General Services Complex, Suite 1501 or mailed to:
Texas A&M University
Degree Audit
P. O. Box 30018
College Station, TX 77842-3018
Official transcripts must be received directly from the issuing institution or in a sealed envelope.
An official transcript must have courses listed as “In-Progress” from the institution in which you are enrolled.
If you are unable to obtain an official transcript, alternative verification may be accepted.
However, these courses will not appear in Howdy and may not help determine how transfer credits will be used to meet graduation requirements.
Other acceptable forms of degree requirement verification include, but are not limited to, an official tuition bill with coursework listed and/or an individual student schedule of classes.
Alternative verification in required courses can be hand-delivered to the General Services Complex, Suite 1501 or faxed to 979-845-0727.
Alternative degree requirement verification must be from the institution in which you are enrolled and must include the following:
- Your name
- The course name(s) and number(s)
- The institution's name
- Attendance term OR course start and end dates
