Self-Service Enrollment Verification
The National Student Clearinghouse is a contracted agent of Texas A&M University and an Authorized Certifying School Official for providing certificates of enrollment verification for insurance purposes, military I.D. cards, student loans, etc. This program is offered at no cost through the National Student Clearinghouse in cooperation with Texas A&M University and is accessible 24 hours per day, seven days per week, including holidays, for immediate assistance.The National Student Clearinghouse Free Student-Self-Service Enrollment Verification Link is accessed via Howdy. Under the MyRecord tab, access the "Verification of Enrollment" link in the My Schedule Channel. The student's Net ID and password are required to log in to this secure system. (If you forget your NetID or password, go to http://gateway.tamu.edu or contact Help Desk Central. You may receive assistance from Help Desk Central at any time by calling (979)845-8300, emailing helpdesk@tamu.edu, or visit the Help Desk Central web site for online computing support, instructions, and assistance.)
At the National Student Clearinghouse site you will be able to perform the following functions:
- Print a Certificate of Enrollment that can be forwarded to a health insurer, housing provider, credit issuer, or other student services provider. An official Certification of Enrollment will be available from the Clearinghouse on approximately the TENTH class day of a semester or term.
- View enrollment information that may have been provided to a student services provider.
- View the electronic notification and deferment forms that have been sent to your lenders.
- View a list of your lenders and real-time student loan information detail, such as outstanding principal balance and next payment due date, that some lenders provide.
IMPORTANT! The National Student Clearinghouse is acting as our agent for providing enrollment verification data to such agencies as third-party verifiers, credit card companies and credit approval agencies. These third parties should contact the National Student Clearinghouse at (703)742-4200 for directions to access enrollment and degree data for Texas A&M University, College Station and Galveston campuses. If the student earned a degree from another Texas A&M University System institution, click here for a listing of the other system schools with links to their websites so you can contact the institution directly.
An enrolled student may elect not to have this information shared under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). You may place holds on your directory information via Howdy. Under the MyRecord tab, you may access the "Directory Hold Information" link in the Records and Grades channel.
